The mansion Althaia is located in the new Elatohori, at an altitude of 850m, on the outskirts of Pieria, opposite the mythical Mount Olympus. The love of the owners for their place of origin, their will to live in nature and the location of the land, inspired them to create a small family guesthouse where guests can feel the family warmth, rest from everyday life, enjoying the amazing view. The mansion Althaia began its operation on Christmas 2008, following the rules of traditional architecture, exploiting its main advantage, its incredible view from Mount Olympus to the coast of Halkidiki, building huge windows of true nature in nature.

The feeling of tranquility combined with the good taste and the discreet luxury of the rooms create the ideal conditions for a pleasant stay, all year round. The choice of name was very important for the owners. They wanted a flower name that is related to mythology since Pieria and Olympos are a place full of myths and history. According to mythology, Althaia was the daughter of Oineas, the king of Kalydonas and the mother of Dimianeras and Meleagros.
